Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon expects a less than rousing reception today, when his Badgers play at Iowa. As a high school standout at Kenosha Bradford, Gordon committed to the Hawkeyes at the beginning of his senior year, and he changed his commitment to UW in November of that year. Gordon already has 1,000 rushing yards this season, even though he splits time with senior James White in the Wisconsin backfield. Gordon averages 9 1/2 yards per carry, with 11 touchdowns.
Iowa is left with converted fullback Mark Weisman, who has 732 yards, a 4.9 yard average, and three scores.
The Badgers brings a 3-1 Big Ten record as they arrive at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City. Iowa is 2-2 in the conference.
ABC will broadcast the matchup starting at 11:00am.
