Obituaries

Frederick A. Yagodinski

Frederick (Fred) Anthony Yagodinski, 77, passed away on December 28, 2018. He was born on June 12, 1941 to the late Julius & Eva (Westmeyer) Yagodinski. On July 6, 1963 he married Patricia MaChesky. Fred was a Guidance Counselor and baseball coach for the Luxemburg-Casco Spartans. He enjoyed his family, hunting & sports, was inducted into the WBCA Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame in 1996, received the community service award from the Luxemburg-Casco Area Chamber of Commerce, was a Casco Lions Charter Member, and touched lives of thousands of students of the Luxemburg-Casco School District.

Fred is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Patricia; his children, Dan (Kelly) Yagodinski and Tom Yagodinski; grandchildren, Haley, Nathan and Blake; and his brother Richard (Jeaneil) Yagodinski. He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law; brother and sister-in-law; and a sister and brother-in-law.

Family and friends may visit Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 3-7 pm at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Casco. Visitation will continue at the church on Monday December 31, 2018 from 9-11 am. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Daniel Schuster and Fr. Milton Suess concelebrating. Wiesner & Massart Funeral Homes, Casco is assisting the family.
