Lutheran Church.

Steve is survived by his wife, Beverly Benson of Rhinelander; two sons, Jeffrey (Amber) Benson of Hibbing, MN and Brian (Lisa) Benson of Rosemount, MN; four grandchildren, Mya, Laila, Lacey, and Lauren; a sister, Barbara (Roger) Smith of Little Chute, WI; a brother, Bill (Shirley) Benson of Escanaba, MI; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Benson of Neenah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellert and Pearl; a sister, Jacquelyn Nolte of Kewaunee; and a brother, Loren Benson of Neenah.

The funeral service for Steve will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Rhinelander with Rev. Richard Krahn officiating.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the church.  Inurnment will take place in the Mosinee Cemetery on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, in Mosinee, WI.  Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414 / www.carlsonfh.com) is assisting the Benson family with arrangements.

Contributions in Steve’s memory can be made to the Children’s Miracle Network or Ascension Hospice.

“Thank you to Ascension Hospice for the wonderful care they provided Steve and Bev.  They truly do serve the whole family.”
