Jack W. Elliot

     Jack W. Elliot, 81, of Sturgeon Bay, was called Home Thursday, October 3, 2019 from his home with Fran by his side.


     He was born Jackie Wayne Elliot on May 17, 1938, son of the late James and Mollie (Morrow) Elliott. Jack graduated from high school in Randlett, Oklahoma in 1956 before serving in the U.S. Navy from 1956-1960. 


     On September 7, 1958 he married Frances L. Womack in Culver, Oregon.  They have lived in Forestville, Algoma, and Sturgeon Bay for the last 45 years. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, CB Radio, gardening and quilting with Fran.


     Surviving family includes his dear wife, Fran of Sturgeon Bay; son, David Elliot of Madison; grandchildren, (Holly’s children: Tim Soper (Fiancé, Lisa Perlove) of Escanaba, MI, Racheal (Tyler) Race of Marinette, (Shannon’s children: Nicholas, Aaron, and Kathryn Kruse of Lakeville, MN; brother, David (Nelda) Elliott; son-in-law, Mark (Laura) Kruse; and many nieces and nephews and dear friends.


    Preceding him in death were his parents, James and Mollie Elliott; two daughters, Holly Elliot and Shannon Kruse; granddaughter, Jenna Lynn Kruse; brothers, Gene and Wallace Elliott; and sisters, Maxine Alessi, Corrine Mackenzie and Wanda Bridges;


     Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Family Worship Center in Sturgeon Bay with Rev. Dr. Mark Schwarzbauer officiating.  Burial will be at Forestville Town Cemetery in Maplewood.  


     Friends and family may visit at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
