Elaine Verna Jandrin

On Saturday night heaven gained another angel, as our beloved Elaine Verna Jandrin, 69, of Lincoln, Wisconsin passed away on December 07, 2019 surrounded by family. After a six-year battle with breast cancer, God called her home at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay, WI.  Elaine was born on January 1, 1950 to Norbert and Olga (Brant) Vanderkinter in Kewaunee, Wisconsin.
She married the love of her life Terry Jandrin on Saturday, January 15th, 1972, in Kewaunee and they went on to have a large family. Elaine attended college at Silver Lake College in pursuit of a teaching degree but stopped classes in order to have her family. Elaine absolutely adored children and if it was up to her she would have had a hundred children. Her family was her world and she always put her family and everyone first over herself. She had a beautiful spirit and enjoyed sharing her warmth and love to all of those that she met. Elaine enjoyed being around people and had a smile that would light up the room. Elaine worked for Curves where she enjoyed working with other women and providing strong encouragement. Elaine also worked as a bank teller for Baylake Bank for six years and loved her coworkers. Elaine enjoyed traveling including visiting Door County during the fall to see the beautiful fall colors, and going up North. She treasured the time spent with family and would always prepare the best picnic meal when camping or visiting a park. Cooking was her passion, she whipped up the best of anything, and you could taste her love and enjoyment in her food. Her special ingredient was love and no one could ever come close with her Dill and Chicken Noodle soup. She was so proud to have her children and grandchildren cook with her and always wore her apron because she said that the best cooks are the messiest. She enjoyed watching cooking shows such as Masterchef and Chopped and she enjoyed grocery shopping, she would always buy ingredients that were on sale. She also was the happiest when she was working on a new puzzle and her eyes would light up when her children or grandchild would offer to help. Somehow, she found time to garden and would love to show her visitors her crops that were growing while she was wearing her big straw hat, riding around on her scooter. Elaine was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and she left us too soon. We will never forget how much she loved Christmas music or baking Christmas cookies, or how she loved reading and watching movies, or the way she was so proud of her family. We will never forget how she made special recipes, how much she taught and showed us and how much she enjoyed knitting and sewing. She had a loving soul that touched so many people, she was the best listener and would always listen, no matter the topic or time of day, her smile and laugh were contagious. She had a large heart and always made sure that when people visited, they would be well fed. Her family was her world and she was all of ours. We know that heaven gained another angel but we already had our angel on earth, she will be deeply missed.
She is survived and will be greatly missed by her spouse Terry Jandrin; six children, Jeanine (Chris) Wierichs, Troy (Tammy) Jandrin, Lisa (Significant Other Bob) Dellise, Lori (Ben) DeJardin, Sara (Significant Other Preston) Jandrin, and Rachel (Mark) LeCaptain; fourteen grandchildren, Kaylin (Justin) Urban, Jordon (Gabby) Pardowsky, Jacob (Significant Other Brandi) Pardowsky, Isaac Pardowsky, Ashley DeJardin, Olivia Pardowsky, Cody Dellise, Trent Jandrin, Linsey Pardowsky, Trevor Jandrin, Ryan LeCaptain, Caleb Pardowsky, Brady DeJardin, and Taylor Jandrin; one great-grandson, Ezra Pardowsky; and two siblings, Jerry (Mary) Vanderkinter and Evelyn Steiner, as well as by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Joe Steiner and her parents.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13th, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home - Casco in Casco, WI. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Country Bible Church, E2179 Hwy 54, Casco, WI 54205. Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 14th, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Country Bible Church with Pastor Dan Gross officiating. Burial will take place at Lincoln Town Cemetery. Online condolence messages may be shared at www.wiesnermassart.com.
