Is parking an issue in Door County during tourist season that should be addressed with additional public off-road parking provided by each municipality?

I avoid both Egg Harbor and Fish Creek in the summer specifically because of the problem with navigating the on street parkers.

The less parking that is available might deter so many people clogging the roads and restaurants, do we really need an infinite amount of tourists ?

Identify open fields for temporary parking in each community. Utilize trolley stops at each parking field. Even a couple acres could manage the parking on most days. Ephraim, Egg Harbor, and Fish Creek are the worst spots for parking. Trolley system is the answer.
