Come on, this isn't rocket science here. All that needs to be done is to install a bar or beam over the road about one block from either end of the bridge, preferably set one inch lower than the lowest point of the bridge itself! THAT way vehicles that are too tall will hit the bar/beam INSTEAD of the bridge!

My opinion would be to retain the three bridges due to traffic flow during holidays and festivals that traffic backs up for miles. Reducing routes through town to two bridges would be a mistake.

Not sure why they didn't make the sidewalk wider to accommodate bikes and pedestrians when they did the major overhaul. The bridges are vital to our economy, commerce, and imperative for safety vehicles to have access. This suggestion should be mute.

This is obvious when bridge is closed and all traffic
needs to use other bridge .We do not have this option anymore . Traffic counts are up since the addition of second bridge downtown .
