In his weekly radio address, Governor Scott Walker discusses two bills signed this week that he says "will improve our jobs climate."
Walker says projections show the mining bill could create "some 3,000 jobs related to the construction of the mine and 2,800 long-term jobs.''
"The other bill didn't get as much attention, but it's just as important," says Walker. "It invests $20 million into workforce development training and the creation of a new system to track workforce needs, which will be a tremendous help to our technical colleges and other programs."

Rep. Gary Hebl of Sun Prairie delivers the Democrats' weekly radio address to promote bills related to the state's judiciary.
Hebl says the bills would "help restore fairness, impartiality and public trust in Wisconsin's courts."
"Wisconsin's courts cannot afford to operate under our current recusal and discipline standards that are so out of step with common sense and fairness," says Hebl.
