Algoma Shuts Out Sturgeon Bay On WRLU

Week one of the high school football season wrapped up on the radio stations of last night with a 37-0 Algoma shutout of Sturgeon Bay. Continuous clock made for a lightning fasts second half.

Zach Schiesser finished with 17 carries for 147 yards and Ben Sealey carried the ball 14 times for 76 yards. Each scored two touchdowns each. Elliot Prokash also cashed in on two scores including the most athletic touchdown reception I have ever seen in a high school football game with no time remaining on the second quarter game clock.

Sam Carter led Sturgeon Bay with ten rushes for 60 yards.

The Clippers travel to Milwaukee Rufus King Thursday night and will be broadcast on 104.1 FM WRLU and worldwide at

Kewaunee was also a big time winner Friday night. They shutout Peshtigo 52-0
