Kenneth A. Paschke

Kenneth A. Paschke, 88 years, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at his home on Monday morning, March 30, 2026. He was born August 21, 1937 in Egg Harbor, the son of the late Orville and Bertha (Tanck) Paschke. Ken attended Sevastopol High School. He had a small farm where he and his family raised beef cattle, and chickens to help feed their family. He even raised pheasants. Ken was a hard worker and for 23 years he worked at Milwaukee Shoe Factory before his 21 years at Emerson Motors until his retirement. Ken built his current home by himself as he earned enough money. He would continue the project until it was finally completed. An avid outdoors man, he loved being outside and working his property. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brother, Bob and friends. He worked hard in his apple orchard and as the trees aged out, he replanted the farm with evergreens. He eventually planted over 10,000 trees. He enjoyed gardening, and with a connection to a bean farmer nearby, years ago Ken was given beans that he continued to seed each year and was eventually recognized as "Ken Paschke Bean", an unrecognized variety, and was written up in the Edible Door publication. Ken was a member of St. Peters Ev. Lutheran Church and years ago the Cherryland Archery Club where he was awarded many times for his shooting ability. His wife, Nina survives, along with his children, Dean (Brenda) Paschke, Debbie (Gary) Ballingham; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Karen Solway, Gail (Francis) Chase; and his brother, Ron (Sue) Paschke. Numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Orville and Bertha Paschke; and two brothers, Robert and Orville Jr. "Buzz"; and brother in law, Herb Solway. If you wish to make a contribution, consider Unity Hospice. Special thank you to the wonderful team of Hospice workers, especially Katie L. Private funeral services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted with Huehns Funeral Home, Inc. in Sturgeon Bay. Expressions of sympathy, memories, and photos of Kenneth may be shared with his family through his tribute page at www.HuehnsFuneralHome.com.
