The next quarterly meeting of the 100+ Women Who Care of Northern Door County giving circle will be live-streamed on Zoom on Monday, October 26 7:00-7:30pm. That night, the organization will award more than $19,000 to local nonprofits, bringing its donations since 2018 inception to $157,000 and nearly $80,000 from 300 members this year.Three nonprofits will be considered: Open Door Bird Sanctuary, Friends of Peninsula Park, and the Adopt a Soldier-Care Package Program. All votes must be submitted by the end of the day October 23. Additional October 26th meeting presentations include: the Door County United Way ALICE project: Asset Limited, Income Constrained Employed; and an update from DoorTran, a past award recipient.
