Students in Door County will be able to enjoy a night of theater and a day at the museum thanks to two area institutions. Northern Sky Theater and the Door County Maritime Museum are teaming up up to give away nearly 4,000 tickets to see the musicals "We Like It Where?" and "Windjammers." Since "Windjammers" focuses on life on a tall ship sailing on Lake Michigan, Ann Birnschein from Northern Sky Theater says it is only fitting they partnered with the Door County Maritime Museum, which will offer students free admission with their ticket.
Birnschein says Northern Sky Theater and the Door County Maritime Museum formed a similar partnership when "Windjammers" debuted in 2013. Ticket distribution will be handled by the schools.
