For the last 14 years, Nancy Hutchinson with the Adopt-a-Soldier program has shipped thousands of care packages to local soldiers serving across the country and beyond.  Hutchinson is now looking for someone to take over the reins for that part of the job.  She hopes someone will step up as she will continue with the organization.

Adopt-a-Soldier Door County is a non-profit and all-volunteer organization that is now also providing financial assistance to veterans of the military in Door County.  Hutchinson says that time commitment has made it imperative to find someone to organize and execute the shipping of care packages.  You can find contact information for Adopt-a-Soldier Door County below.
