Being in the student council is more than just a popularity contest at Gibraltar schools. Members of the student council have an opportunity to get scholarships for college. Two cents from all gallons of gas purchased from the Pride Pump at the Jandu Petroleum in Carlsville is donated to a program at Gibraltar schools each month.
