The Door County Pickleball Club has been instrumental in helping to usher in outdoor pickleball to Sturgeon Bay. In August 2018, two pickleball courts were added at Otumba Park. This past August, six pickleball courts were painted at Sunset Park. Club President Jay Renstrom says open scheduling exists for both sports with an exception made for a tennis group at Otumba Park.

The DCPC has seen explosive growth in its first year, recently purchasing wind screens for the courts at Sunset Park. Renstrom hopes to begin tournaments next summer.
