Kewaunee homecoming features tractor parade

Homecoming week at Kewaunee High School was capped off by the annual tractor parade. Students came to class Thursday morning perched high atop John Deere green, Case IH red, and Kubota orange. Students in grades K-12 got to interact with the vehicles from a safe distance. Principal Michael Bennett says all four classes in the high school march, or drive, in the parade.

There is no class Friday so the parade was scheduled for seventh period on the final day of instruction for the week. Bennett says that next year they may try to introduce an educational aspect to Bring Your Tractor To School Day.
