Door County is one of the premier foliage showcases in all of Wisconsin which means a lot of hikers will be on local trails who lack experience and familiarity with the area. That combination could lead to troubles unless proper precautions are taken. Dave Ferguson is the President of the Door County Silent Sports Alliance, a group which includes many hiking enthusiasts among it. Ferguson says to keep others in the loop.
