Sister Bay votes to expand facility

The Village of Sister Bay voted Tuesday to approve a $3 million project that expands and renovates the wastewater treatment facility. The project improves existing infrastructure and adds meeting space in addition to other improvements according to Village Administrator Beau Bernhoft.

The USDA provided a grant which helps fund roughly half of the project. The project has not been in the works for years. Upgrades were identified recently by the Utilities Director and other municipal employees.
