Fall Fest rousing success

Outside of a couple of minor incidents, revelers at this weekend’s Fall Fest were well behaved as they enjoyed the festivities and the colors. Sister Bay/Liberty Grove Fire Department Chief Chris Hecht headed up one of the changes this year as they took over the Saturday morning pancake breakfast for the now-defunct Northern Door Kiwanis Club. Years after the event was marred by three accidents, Hecht appreciates visitors making safer choices at this year’s Fall Fest activities.

The Sister Bay Advancement Association added shuttles and safe ride options to this year’s event, even coordinating buses with the Baileys Harbor Civic Association to get people around.
