Damage caused by high water levels and wave action on Green Bay has forced the early closure of the Frank Murphy County Park boat landing.  Door County Parks Department employees discovered that damage during an inspection last Thursday.  Facilities and Parks Director Wayne Spritka says the structural integrity of the launch was weakened quickly by the elements.

Spritka says anglers and duck hunters on Green Bay will still be able to launch at the Murphy Park boat landing, however, they'll do so at their own risk.
