Initial work on the Dorr Hotel project in Sister Bay could start late this year once final approval comes on design changes.  The four-story, boutique hotel project will come before the village planning commission October 29th with requests to change the design to add two more rooms where a deck was previously planned.  Construction was originally planned to start earlier this year.  Sister Bay Village Administrator Beau Bernhoft says those design changes and property concerns delayed the start of construction.  He says those issues are close to being resolved.

Bernhoft believes that once final approval is given the Dorr Hotel developers will meet their target opening date in 2021.
