PATH of Door County hopes a central location will be key to getting more families the help they need for their autistic or other developmentally challenged children. The organization celebrated the one year anniversary for its location on Jaycee Court on Wednesday. Like many services in the area, the geography of Door County makes it hard for people to get around quickly, which makes it difficult to get providers to come support people who really need the help. Deb Doyle from PATH of Door County hopes that with time, they can attract those people to come back.
PATH of Door County is looking to continue to host special events like its recent Halloween and Homecoming parties for people who may not otherwise get to participate in those activities.
