Fire destroys storage building

A storage building that caught fire late Friday morning in Sturgeon Bay is a complete loss.  The Sturgeon Bay Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 644 Tacoma Beach Road in Sturgeon Bay a little after 11 am Friday with the barn-like storage building fully enflamed.  No one was inside of the structure at the time of the fire and the Sturgeon Bay Fire Department was able to contain the fire from spreading to a nearby wooded area within minutes.  The property belongs to Dave and Liz Hoffman.  Damage to equipment inside included a motorcycle and a lawn tractor used by Source Building Services, according to Hoffman.  The cause of the fire is not known at this time.  We will have more information on this story when it is made available.
