Sturgeon Bay excited for TJ Maxx

Lines were long and the parking lot full in the early morning at the TJ Maxx grand opening at Cherry Point Mall in Sturgeon Bay on Sunday. People were excited about the department store opening its doors and doing a ribbon-cutting ceremony beforehand. The manager of the new TJ Maxx store, Alex Baril, presented Feed and Clothe My People of Door County a donation of $10,000.

Feed and Clothe My People Board President Carol Krueger cut the ribbon after receiving the large check. Gift cards were given out to the many people waiting in line and the first 500 customers received a free reusable bag. The grand opening was at 8 AM and the store will be open from 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM Monday through Saturday and 11 AM to 8 PM on Sundays normally.
