Sturgeon Bay finalizing budget and housing plans

The City of Sturgeon Bay’s addressing of future developments and the 2020 budget has set up for a busy early November.  Mayor David Ward says the Planned Unit Development for a 40-unit housing project in the old Westside School was approved by the Plan Commission earlier this month.  He shares the next step by the city to move forward on the development.

Ward says that North Point Developments is in the process of obtaining state historical and affordable housing tax credits by April of next year to help finance the project.  The City of Sturgeon Bay’s budget for 2020, that includes planned operation and capital expenditures, will be presented for final approval at a special council meeting at 6 pm on Monday, November 4.
