Girls more involved in business

Girls are involved in the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) at Sturgeon Bay High School more than ever this school year.  The FBLA helps run the Clipper School Store where they sell Sturgeon Bay apparel. They meet every second and fourth Thursday of the month where participants learn business skills to help them in their careers beyond high school. Michelle Gibson is the Sturgeon Bay FBLA Club Advisor and she’s happy to see how many girls are involved with the program this year and how the older boys have treated them.

The Future Business Leaders of America are looking to make a business trip to Milwaukee or Madison in the spring. Last year, they went to Miller Park for a Brewers game to learn more about sports marketing.
