The Friends of the Forestville Dam have had to abandon plans for an injunction against the proposed millpond drawdown scheduled for this Friday. Village President Terry McNulty says he has contingency plans in place with the first priority being to find allies.

McNulty says he has been testing downstream from the dam recently, saying it is cleaner than you can get from a tap. Kewaunee County is dealing with water quality issues of its own related to agricultural runoff and McNulty is betting they don't want to import similar problems from southern Door County.
