When you turn your clocks back an hour for the end of Daylight Savings Time, Gibraltar Fire and Rescue says it is the right time to test all your monitoring devices. With the extraordinary rainfall that the Door Peninsula has seen in 2019, smoke detectors are not a priority for most. Assistant Chief Jerrad Anderson says that winter is the worst time of the year for that mindset.
Daylight savings time ends at 2 AM on Sunday.
