Make stargazing easier

You have an opportunity to learn more about looking up at the night sky with your own equipment next week in Sturgeon Bay. The Door Peninsula Astronomical Society is hosting its monthly meeting at the Stonecipher Astronomy Center at Crossroads at Big Creek on Tuesday. There will be a presentation made by Steve Ransom-Jones on how to mount your own telescopes and building your own backyard observatory. Dave Lenius, who is on the board for the Door Peninsula Astronomical Society, says he hears often of people getting frustrated after buying their own telescopes.

 

 

The Door Peninsula Astronomical Society meets the first Tuesday of every month at the Stonecipher Astronomy Center at Crossroads at Big Creek at 7 PM. All are welcome to attend.
