An early Friday morning house fire in southern Kewaunee County claimed the life of a town of a Franklin resident.  The Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that a 71-year old man was found dead in the house located on the 1900 block of Wochos Road near Stangelville.  Fire departments from Carlton, Two Creeks, Maribel, and Denmark were reportedly called in shortly after one o’clock Friday morning.  The Wisconsin Department of Justice is investigating the fire and no other information is being released at this time.  DoorCountyDailyNews.com will update this article when more information is made available.
