With one month under his belt as the City of Algoma administrator, Jared Heyn is getting comfortable in his new duties.  Heyn, a De Pere native, graduated from St. Norbert College and received a master’s degree in Public Administration from Northern Illinois University.  In 2015, Heyn moved back to the Green Bay area and worked as the assistant to the administrator for the Village of Bellevue before accepting his new position as the Algoma city administrator.  He shares the major challenges a smaller community like Algoma has to face in the future.
