It is not as easy as gathering in a room anymore to discuss ideas or solve issues, but the Door County Community Foundation is doing its part to help. GlobalWorkplaceAnalytics.com reported earlier this year that telecommuting had already seen a 115 percent increase in use over the last decade before many people were forced to over the last few weeks. Not everybody has been able to make the switch, which is why Door County Community Foundation President and CEO Bret Bicoy says they are expanding their video conferencing system for area non-profits.
The Door County Community Foundation has raised over $90,000 in contributions since relaunching the Door County Emergency Response Fund last week.
