Flea & tick season approaching for pets

Pet owners should be proactive in protecting their furry friends from the hazards of certain insects as they spend more time in the outdoors this spring and summer. Dr. Jordan Kobilca from Door County Veterinary Hospital and the Luxemburg Pet Clinic recommends heartworm prevention year-round for your pet.  The flea and tick prevention should be through the late fall.
