The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in the area held steady on Tuesday as the State of Wisconsin’s death toll surpassed the 1,000 mark with eight additional deaths reported. Door County Public Health reported no new positive tests on Tuesday while noting five more recoveries and leaving only eight active cases. Kewaunee County did not show any more positive tests for COVID-19 on Tuesday and remains at 132. The active cases dropped to 21 with three new recoveries reported.
