The area saw two additional deaths from COVID-19 on Thursday. Door County Public Health reported the seventh death while Kewaunee County recorded its eighth fatality. Coronavirus positive tests in Door County jumped up 49 more cases. The positivity rate reflected over 35 percent on Thursday. Kewaunee County also saw an increase in COVID-19 cases with 13 additional positive tests. The positivity rate was over 38 percent. Hospitalizations remained the same in Door County while Kewaunee County went down one to three. Statewide, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported another high number of positive tests of 4870 with 51 additional deaths. The positivity rate was nearly 37 percent.
