With temperatures forecast to be above freezing this week, all Kewaunee County snowmobile trails will close as of Monday morning. A Kewaunee County Promotions & Recreation Department news release cited the eventual deterioration of the snow base would make the trails unusable. The trails in the Red River, Algoma and Kewaunee areas had open last Wednesday along with the use of the Ahnapee Trail. The Luxemburg area had remained closed.
