You may be seeing a lot of hiring signs and a lot of people taking their time getting back into the workforce, but Kewaunee County currently is listed as the second-lowest unemployment rate in Wisconsin. According to the Local Area Unemployment Statistics that the Job Center of Wisconsin released, Kewaunee County had a 2.8% unemployment rate. Door County sits in the middle of the pack when it comes to unemployment rates around the entire state. Door County currently has a 4.6% rate.
