Conservation Conversation takes another look at no-till planting

You can possibly increase your profit margins and save additional time by no-till planting crops into a green field, but Peninsula Pride Farms members and other farmers will take a look on Tuesday at how it actually worked. Augustian Farms hosted one of the first Conservation Conversations of the year earlier this year as the corn crop started to take shape after owner Aaron Augustian planted it into a field that was already showing growth from other plants. He knows the yields are good, but Augustian is anxious to show farmers how the rest of the field looks before he begins planting a mix of cover crops.

Augustian Farms will host the Conservation Conversation on Tuesday beginning at 5 p.m.
