Door County’s COVID-19 numbers shot up again over the weekend as more residents were admitted into the hospital with symptoms. Since the county’s last situation report on Wednesday, another 73 people tested positive for COVID-19. That led to the number of active cases increasing by 29 to 370. No new deaths were reported, but an additional three were added to the number of hospitalizations. Just over 71 percent of people have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as of September 22nd. The Door County Public Health Department has planned COVID-19 vaccine clinics for this Wednesday at its offices in Sturgeon Bay from 2-4:30 p.m. and October 14th from noon to 5 p.m. in Sister Bay.
