The impact of the Ryder Cup in Kohler last weekend was felt as far north as the Door Peninsula and by local golf clubs.  Brandon Hansen, a golf professional at Idlewild Golf Course, attended the Ryder Cup on Sunday and says the experience was like no other tour event he has attended in the past.  The United States defeated Europe 19-9, and Hansen says the atmosphere was incredible and electric.

Hansen adds that about one-third of all golfers last week who played the Idlewild Golf Course were visiting the area because of the Ryder Cup competition in Kohler.
