You can play a major role in how Destination Door County promotes the area in 2022. For the first time in the organization's history, Destination Door County is asking residents, visitors, business owners, and other stakeholders to let them know their suggestions and thoughts on how to move forward after the organization's CEO Jack Moneypenny parted ways earlier this year. The dynamics of what Destination Door County does on an annual basis has changed as the area has only grown in popularity in the past decade. Visitor spending in 2020 was over $304 million despite operating during a pandemic. Interim CEO Jon Jarosh says helping keep Door County the place people remember is just as important as their efforts to bring people to the area.
Destination Door County first introduced efforts to sustainably manage visitor-related development during National Tourism and Travel Week in May. You have until October 1st to fill out the survey, which is available by clicking this link.
