On Wednesday morning at about 11:45 a bomb threat was made at Algoma School district which caused all students to be evacutated from the building. The Police and Fire department both arrived at the scene and began a sweep to make sure that the building was secure and no bomb was actually there. Neighboring schools began to take safety precautions once the threat had been received, yet no other surrounding schools have reported getting a similar threat today. Two Rivers did have a threat of the same nature a while ago, but at this point the threats seem random. The scene at Algoma was cleared at about 1:00 pm after police and fire officials swept the building and did not find anything.
