Graduation Spotlight: Luxemburg-Casco's Grace Holschuh

For as good as she is on the volleyball court, you could argue Grace Holscuh was even better in the classroom. Holschuh had the privilege to address her classmates during Wednesday’s commencement exercises as Luxemburg-Casco’s valedictorian. She finished in the top 10 percent of her graduating class of 167 students while making an impact on and off the court. A multi-All-State performer as outside hitter on the three-time state champion volleyball team, Holschuh also volunteered with the school’s Best Buddies, Talls and Smalls, Sting Cancer, and National Honor Society. Her advice to future graduates of Luxemburg-Casco is to put your time in all four years.

She will be attending UW-Green Bay in the fall to major in human biology with an emphasis in exercise science. Holschuh’s classmates were equally impressive, with over 80 scholarship recipients and sixty-five percent of the senior class earning youth apprenticeship certifications. Luxemburg-Casco High School Principal Troy Haws commended the graduating class for their grace, resiliency, and positivity during their four years, two of which were heavily impacted by the pandemic. You can listen to the full interview with Holschuh by clicking this link.
