You are running out of time to be a part of the next class of the Door County Sheriff’s Department Citizen’s Academy. The program is designed to give community members a first-hand look at the department’s operations over 11 weeks. Jail operations, patrol procedures, criminal investigations, and use of force decision-making are just some of the topics that will be covered. It is free to participate for Door County residents who are at least 18 years old and complete a background check.
