The City of Sturgeon Bay recently released details about a pair of open houses to discuss the project reimagining the space where Sturgeon Bay High School's Memorial Field and other athletic spaces reside. The open houses are scheduled for January 29^th in Baileys Harbor and February 7^th in Sister Bay. Following an informational session hosted last month in Sturgeon Bay, City Administrator Josh Van Lieshout said there was a lot of support for the scale and scope of the project, with residents supporting adding a new track and turf fields into the mix as well as a possible indoor center. He suggested that adding such a facility could be catalytic for the City of Sturgeon Bay and Door County.
