A 61-year-old Ellison Bay man was cited for failing to yield the right of way after a two-vehicle head-on collision in the Town of Liberty Grove on Saturday.
The crash occurred shortly after 2:45 p.m. on County Road ZZ at its intersection with Robin Lane. According to the accident report, the Ellison Bay man was traveling south on County Road ZZ when he attempted to turn left onto Robin Lane. At the same time, a couple from Hayward was traveling north on County Road ZZ when their vehicle was struck.
The 54-year-old woman driving the vehicle and her 61-year-old male passenger suffered minor injuries that did not require hospitalization.
Emergency personnel blocked traffic for about 15 minutes while the vehicles were removed and the roadway was cleared. The scene was cleared shortly after 4 p.m.
