A 17-year-old from Wilmette, Illinois, was taken to a Green Bay hospital Saturday following a motocross bike crash in the Town of Sturgeon Bay.
The crash occurred shortly after 11:45 a.m. on Sand Lane near Lake Lane as the teen was traveling south.
According to the crash report, the rider told the responding deputy he did not lean enough while entering a turn. As a result, he left the roadway, entered a ditch and jumped a nearby driveway. He was thrown from the bike after it landed on the other side of the driveway.
No citations were issued as a result of the crash.
