Green Bay motorcyclist seriously injured in Brussels

A 53-year-old Green Bay woman was transported to a Green Bay hospital Sunday afternoon after she lost control of her motorcycle and crashed in the town of Brussels.

 

The crash occurred just before 4:20 p.m. on State Highway 57 near School Road. According to the accident report, the motorcyclist was traveling south when she attempted to change lanes and lost control.

 

She crashed in the median and was unable to recall the incident when speaking with responding personnel. She was wearing a helmet and protective gear when the crash occurred.

 

The crash closed a lane of traffic for about 40 minutes while emergency personnel tended to the motorcyclist and cleared the scene. The lane reopened shortly after 5 p.m.
