Wind Advisory Monday evening through Tuesday morning

Boaters and other small craft are advised to stay off the water this evening.

 

The National Weather Service has issued a small craft advisory for the Bay of Green Bay from 4-9PM on Monday, with gale warnings from 9PM this evening until 7AM Tuesday.

 

South winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt and waves 1 to 3 ft are expected. For the Gale Warning, south winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt and waves 3 to 6 ft are expected. For the second Small Craft Advisory, southwest winds 15 to 20 kt veering west, with gusts up to 30 kt and waves 3 to 6 ft expected.

 

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for hazardous conditions.
