As the season begins to turn, Kewaunee County 4-H is inviting area youth to discover their spark indoors and outdoors next month. On Saturday, Oct. 3, attendees can sample a wide variety of activities at Kewaunee County 4-H’s Outdoor Adventure Day at Black Ash Gun Club in Algoma. Kayaking, fire building, woodworking and leathercraft are just some of the activities kids can try.
On Oct. 5, the Taste of 4-H Open House will give families a peek at what area clubs and projects do throughout the year. Kewaunee County 4-H Educator Erin Dahle says the best way to learn is to do.
While both activities are taking place next month, registration for the organization’s Outdoor Adventure Day closes Friday. 4-H organizations across the country, including those in Kewaunee and Door counties, are welcoming new and returning members this month as part of their registration periods.
